SIPS, Nokha has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee shall defy sexual harassment at work place and creates a mechanism for redressal of complaints. The Committee deals with issues relating to sexual harassment at the SIPS. It is applicable to all students and staff.<\/p>\n<p>This will contribute to realization of their right to gender equality, life and likely in working conditions everywhere. The sense of security will improve women\u2019s participation in work resulting in their economic empowerment and inclusive growth.<br \/>\nThe committee will deal with the complaint related to sexual harassment of female employees at work place.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text woodmart_inline=&#8221;no&#8221; text_larger=&#8221;no&#8221;]Objective: The objectives of the Committee are:[\/vc_column_text]\n\t\t<div class=\"wd-list wd-wpb color-scheme- wd-fontsize-xs wd-list-type-icon wd-list-style-square wd-list-shape-icon \" id=\"wd-6450fede922ea\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against women, by promoting gender amity among students and employees.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against women, in a time bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized and termination of the harassment.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Recommend appropriate punitive action against the guilty party to the Director.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Deal with cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against students and women, in a time bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized and termination of the harassment.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Conduct orientation program\/ seminars for women employees and girl students to sensitize to be proactive to deal with such discrimination if any.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Sensitizing employees about sexual harassment issues.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Conduct workshops on POSCO.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"list-icon fas fa-transgender\"><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"list-content\">Members of the Protection of Women from Sexual Harassment Committee 2023-24 are listed as below:\n1.
